Children's Choir

Wednesday afternoons during the school year 4:30-5:30pm in the Church choir loft

The first rehearsal of the new children's choir season will be on Wednesday, September 11th, at 4:30pm in the church.  NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!  See the letter below for further details.

The St. Bartholomew Children's Choir is a parish ministry that allows children in grades 3 through 8 the opportunity to serve the parish community in the context of liturgy. The Children's Choir is an integral part of the 10am Children's Liturgies, leading worship during the Children's Liturgy of the Word. They also support the singing of the congregation and offer anthems related to the Scriptures of the day with the goal of raising hearts and minds to the worship of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Children's Choir consists of children who attend any school and are currently in one of the following grades: 3 through 8. Most of the children are between the ages of 8 and 13. They form a small group community as they learn to breathe together (literally) and sing together.

Children’s Choir sings:
• two Sundays a month from October through Pentecost
• every Sunday during the Advent and Lenten seasons
• during First Penance and First Communion Services
